Knowing Your Needs Will Be Met.
Although most Cypress Members live independently, their lifestyle needs can change over time.
Our flexible Home Care options provide additional support tailored to the specific needs of our Members, allowing them to live independently in the comfort of their Cypress home. The Cypress offers personalized care through three programs: Assistance in Living, Home Care, and Companion Care.
What Is Assistance In Living?
The Assistance in Living program is for those who need just a little extra help. It allows Members to maintain independence and is tailored to the wants and needs of each Member.
Members utilizing this service benefit from consistent and capable caregivers that help maintain daily routines and foster independence.
Members who receive Assistance in Living have continued access to all of the amenities available to our independent living Members as well as a wide selection of extra care benefits.
What Is In-Home Care?
Some of our Members require a higher level of care than that which is provided through Assistance in Living.
From a few hours a week to as much as around the clock care, through Home Care, a personal, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides hands-on care in the home and helps you stay in your home as long as possible.
A Registered Nurse performs an assessment to determine the level of care needed, develops a customized care plan, and oversees all care.
What is Companion Care?
Companions provide many of the services of a CNA but do not provide ‘hands on’ care. A companion may run errands, organize home projects, do laundry, or manage pet care.
They are knowledgeable, creative, flexible, and friendly and accompany Members to appointments and activities on or off campus.
