There are shopping venues, professional sports teams, and diverse seasonal events to experience year-round - and all are extremely convenient to The Cypress.
Outdoor Spaces
Our location allows our Members to enjoy four seasons, with the splendor of nature visible all across the Triangle. Explore the beauty of William B. Umstead State Park, containing 22 miles of trails that cover more than 5,000 acres just a short drive from our campus. The Falls Lake State Recreation Area is one of the largest in North Carolina, providing access to water sports, picnic areas and playgrounds. Or wander into one of the 200+ parks that have been designed into our beautiful city.
Universities
Raleigh is part of the Research Triangle Park (RTP) which includes Durham and Chapel Hill. These three cities are home to North Carolina State University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Duke University— all less than 30 minutes from The Cypress of Raleigh campus. The Triangle is also home to Meredith College, William Peace University, North Carolina Central University, and Shaw University.
Hospitals
The Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area is recognized for having some of the best health care providers in North Carolina, with several of our local hospitals being recognized nationally for specialized care and patient satisfaction. Nearby to our campus are WakeMed Health, UNC Healthcare - both in Raleigh and Chapel Hill – as well as The Duke Hospital System in Raleigh and Durham.
