Lesley Olsen joined The Cypress of Raleigh as the Director of Human Resources in April of 2008. She has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Prior to joining The Cypress of Raleigh, Ms. Olsen was the Human Resources Director for Midway Airlines for four years. Prior to working in Aviation, Ms. Olsen worked for Swiss Army Brands, Inc. which is a high-end Consumer Products company as the Director of Human Resources for eleven years.  At that time, she relocated from Connecticut to North Carolina. Lesley and B.J. live in Holly Springs North Carolina with their five-year-old Golden Doodle and their 11- year-old Maltipoo. Lesley has two sons; Davin who is a Raleigh Fire Fighter and Jason who works for the Durham Performance Arts Center (DPAC) as an Operations Manager.

Ms. Olsen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management and a minor in Psychology. She is also a Duke University certified Human Resources Manager. Ms. Olsen is a Dale Carnegie graduate and has earned the title of SPHR and has been a member of SHRM for many years.
